LOSAP

A LOSAP or Length of Service Awards Program is an incentive program for volunteer fire and EMT services to retain talent. Volunteers receive a pension-like benefit each year for attending training sessions and responding to emergency calls. Once a volunteer has reached entitlement age, they may be eligible for a distribution of benefits or an award.

If you have generously donated your time as a volunteer will be receiving either a lump sum distribution or monthly payment, Mountain View Strategic Wealth can help you determine the best way take full advantage of your distribution including understanding any tax implications.
